Hello, friends,

It's been a long time since I've written, and I'm glad to be back in touch. Welcome to all those who signed up for the Elisa Korenne mailing list this winter. I took the last couple of months off from performing in order to finish fine-tuning "Favorite," my upcoming album. You can listen to excerpts from the songs here. I'm pleased to announce that the album is about to be pressed, and should be available to those who have pre-ordered copies sometime next month. In the works is also a Chicks with Guitars Spring Tour and my first performances in Ireland. See below for more information.

I'm looking to place my songs in television and film. If you have contacts in these industries who may be interested in my music, please let me know. I'm also looking to hire some help in getting my music out to people who might like it. If you know anyone who may be interested, you can respond to this email.

This winter and spring are chock full of performances. I hope to see some of you when I pass through your neighborhoods. There will also be visits to some new U.S. locales, including western Pennsylvania, Ohio, Vermont, and Maine.

I'm looking forward to performing again. See you on the road...

The album is complete, and is about to be pressed. I'm thrilled with how it has turned out, and I've put excerpts from the album on my websites. You can listen to excerpts and PRE-ORDER your own copy here. Copies will be available to those who have pre-ordered sometime next month. The CD Release party will be held in the late spring, stay tuned for more information. It will be my only New York City performance for the first half of 2005.

I'm going on tour with two other talented chicks with guitars, soul-rock powerhouse Nicola and bubble gum doomsday folk artist Jeanette Palmer. The Chicks with Guitars Spring 2005 Tour is sponsored by Hot Cherry Records, Popeye's, and others. The tour will visit PA, OH, VT, and ME. See below for more performance information.

Yes, I'm going to Ireland! I am in the process of organizing an Ireland tour for this April. If you know people or places in Ireland to recommend, let me know. And if you know someone in Ireland who might like my music, please forward this newsletter to them.

Andy the Lightbulb Eater

Mother swooned when Andy revealed
That her missing lightbulb was this morning's meal
Tonics and doctors, therapists and quacks
None could keep Andy from metal and glass
Andy nibbled on anything bright
So they switched to candles and cursed dark nights
Halogens at breakfast, fluorescents at lunch
He'd chew and he'd crack and he'd grind and he'd munch

Crack! Crunch! Feel it slide
Screw! Twist! Down inside

He sharpened his teeth with frequent dining
He toughened his tonsils and stomach lining
He learned to crack glass between molar and tongue
To maneuver shards past cheek and gums
He'd skip out on English, and hang out in Shop
He'd sneak into junkyards to see what was dropped
Before anyone could tell him to "Shoo!"
He'd crack and he'd grind and he'd munch and he'd chew

He grabbed a snack at the hardware store
A crowd gathered, and asked for more
Soon audiences waited with eyes aglow
