Happy Summer, my friends. I hope you have all been able to engage in a bit of youthful frolic--which is what summer should be all about!
I'm writing early to prepare you all for my first gig of August on Tuesday the 2nd. I know that I caused some concern with the lack of lead-time between my july newsletter and my july show at Bar 169.
Before anymore news, I want to thank you all for your continued support. Your enthusiasm and presence keep my spirits buoyed in a business which has its share of challenges.
On a positive note, August is rolling in with a couple of new gigs, and some great news.
Singer Magazine will be reviewing Favorite in their September issue.
Two tracks from Favorite--Butte and Road Trance--are now available to PC users as Weed files. Weed allows you to listen to a digital music file three times for free, and then, if you like them, you can buy them for $.99 each. What a deal! Go to my music page to download. More files to be posted soon, with ways you can earn money from hosting my tracks. Let me know if you have particlar track requests!
I'll be playing my first show at the Rockwood Music Hall in NYC at 11pm on Tuesday August 2nd. This venue is quickly gaining a reputation as one of the best music rooms in the city. I've also just booked another show at one of my favorite Connecticut venues, the Victoria Station Cafe, where I'm proud to have been their debut music event in June.

After too long, I've finally updated my website with some new general reviews on the press page and some some new album reviews on the album review page. Feel free to respond to this message with your own album/performance reviews. If it's suitable, I'll publish it.
Note to Pennsylvania, Ohio and middle-Atlantic fans: I'm coming down to Ohio in late September, and I'm in the process of booking gigs. If you are interested in hosting a house concert (easy and fun!) or have venue recommendations, please let me know.
