I hope you all are enjoying the summer. I've been trying to celebrate it by getting to beautiful outdoor places as much as possible. Last weekend, I finally made it to Acadia National Park in Maine, and it's easy to see what all the fuss is about. It's beautiful.

In musical news, CD Baby, my online distributor--and a company that is wonderfully supportive of independent artists--is having a competition to see who can sell the most albums via their website. If you've been looking for an excuse to buy a copy of Favorite, do it via CD Baby. Top selling artists in August get their songs included on a CD Baby compilation sent out to every customer. Last year, you only had to sell 30 albums to make it onto the compilation. My goal this month is 40. Tell your friends!

On the live front, gigs this month include a long-delayed return to New York City, with a performance in Manhattan and another in the oddly bucolic summer destination City Island, as well as appearances in Pennsylvania and Connecticut.

Booking has started for the fall, so if you'd like to see me in your area, drop me a line. House concerts are a great and easy way to have an intimate music experience in your living room, and we're happy to help you make them work.
