From
the Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts to small coffee houses, from
concert halls to churches and schools, Joe Jencks has spent the last seven
years touring full-time in North America. Joe uses music as a vehicle
for sharing stories and ideas, for connecting disparate communities and
people through the power of music and journalistic songwriting.
Jencks has won numerous awards for his unique songwriting and powerful performance style. He is a conservatory trained vocalist with experience in Opera, Musical Theater and Jazz, which all complement his work on the folk circuit as a troubadour and minstrel. Weaving together musical beauty, social consciousness and spiritual exploration, Joe creates a tapestry of song and story that can invite even the most rigid of hearts to crack wide open. Joe’s career is rooted not just in musical performance, but in ministering to the human spirit. Jencks has released five recordings of original and traditional music and specializes in collecting and performing songs that relate to labor, workers, and social awareness. Famed folk singer and writer Pete Seeger said this of Jencks, “The key to the future is people joining in. The music of Joe Jencks captures this essential spirit. Joe is an outstanding singer who carries on the traditions." More

Along
with her rich voice, smoldering live performances, and elegant songcraft,
Elisa Korenne brings a rare authenticity to her music. After cutting her
teeth in the high-caliber New York City music scene, the preeminent independent
music retailer CD Baby hailed Elisa as “one of the best we’ve
ever heard” and Singer & Musician magazine said she “belongs
on anyone’s must-play list.”
In 2005, the Jerome Foundation and the Ucross Foundation selected Elisa as a recipient of two prestigious artistic fellowships for her Ordinarily Unsung project about members of the fringe in American History, and the Nevers-a-Vif music festival in France chose Elisa to open the line-up of international artists. She has earned songwriting awards from the Plowshares Songwriting Contest, Sisters Folk Festival, Great American Song Contest, Song of the Year, Song Prize, and the Philadelphia Songwriters’ Project. Elisa’s live performances match her songwriting talent; her arresting presence and husky vocals lend her the rare ability of consummate performers to keep listeners riveted. Elisa’s music can also be heard on her debut album, Favorite, which was selected as one of the Top 50 Indie Releases of 2005 by Singer & Musician magazine, and on the radio. In 2006 the album Favorite was added to nearly 200 college radio stations across the U.S. More
